2. How was IDP able to help you?

IDP was the clear and obvious choice. No other agency is efficient and quick in applying and getting offers from Australian universities as IDP is. They are very reliable, and the education counsellors there are super helpful and thorough. The predeparture briefing conducted by IDP was very helpful as well, as I got to meet my future fellow batchmates over there.

3. Are there any (major) challenges you faced?

The main challenge was deciding which university I should pick. Having gotten into 5 different universities, I was unsure which one I should enrol in. Here IDP’s education counsellors helped me a lot. They heard all my requirements, understood them, and then gave me the correct advice.

4. How did you approach your job search (part-time/full-time)?

I networked a lot for my part-time job. I applied to many different places online. I also used references of my seniors who are already working in full-time roles. All this effort eventually led to fruition and helped me land a part-time job.

5. What are your goals for your career in Australia?

My goal I would say, for a career in Australia, is to work in a company or with an organization where I could create impact. I would love to use all the technical and social skills I acquired in my master's and use it to better the lives of people here.

6. Is there any advice for international students?

The advice I would like to give international students is to make friends with all different kinds of people from all over the world. This is the best opportunity to meet people from different cultures and learn a lot of new things, utilize that to the fullest. Also, do not just spend all your time in working part-time jobs. Try to enjoy the university life to the fullest!
