There is a single pathway for the 190 visa, whereas the 491 visa offers three different pathways.
NSW nomination for the 491 visa enables skilled migrants to live, work, and study in designated regional areas of NSW for up to 5 years. There are three pathways to qualify for NSW nomination under this visa:
- Pathway 1: Apply if you are currently employed by a regional NSW employer.
- Pathway 2: Receive an invitation to apply from Investment NSW.
- Pathway 3: Apply if you have recently graduated from an institution in Regional NSW.
