Offers of admission can take several months to receive. An international student usually applies before April 1st, but offers can come as late as in the summer months. If you're an international student right now waiting for an offer of admission, make sure that you're looking at your uoZone account to ensure that you've provided us with all the necessary documents. If you have any other questions, feel free to check out our website or contact us if you think there's a problem with your admissions.

At the University of Winnipeg, students need to fill out the online application, pay a 120 dollar application fee, and then submit all of their academic transcripts as well as their English language requirements if needed. Once you've completed all of these steps, it will take approximately four to six weeks for the admissions office to process your application and then you'll receive your letter of acceptance.

The time it takes to evaluate an application and give an admission decision will vary by institution across Canada. At Macewan we strive to give applicants an answer within 15 business days from the time all required documents are received. Please note that this timeline may vary depending on the program you apply to and if additional admission criteria is required. This can be anything from a competitive average to a portfolio or an audition.
