I recommend new students to definitely visit the Royal Pavilion, which is a beautiful former royal retreat to a newly turned museum. The Brighton Palace Pier is also a beautiful place to visit in both day and night, full of classic and modern arcade games with scenic views.

Hi there. The University of Ottawa is located at the heart of Canada's capital, and so I always recommend students explore our downtown just minutes from campus and an insider's tip to get the best view of our parliament buildings. Be sure to visit Parliament Hill at sunset to capture the most magnificent view of our city. And in the winter, take a seat on the world's largest skating rink, the Rideau Canal.
