What it covers
$50,000 per year for three years
$20,000 per year for three years, as research and travel allowance
Opportunity for a fourth year: writing or dissemination scholarship
Advice from a mentor from various spheres of Canadian public life, starting the second year of the scholarship.

This funding opportunity is applicable to PhD courses at Cranfield University.
Who can apply
Eligibility Criteria:
1. You must be registered or accepted into a full-time doctoral program in year one or two.
2. Your field of study is broadly related to the humanities and social sciences or human sciences and is directly relevant to the future of Canada.
3. Your doctoral work must relate to at least one of the Foundation's four general themes:
i. Human Rights and Dignity,
ii. Responsible Citizenship,
iii. Canada and the World,
iv. People and their Natural Environment.
4. You must be a Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution. Or you are a permanent resident of Canada or a foreign national enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.
