Ontario Tech University is a unique, industry-focused institution in Ontario, Canada.
Ontario Tech University offers a diverse array of undergraduate, college-to-university transfer, and graduate programs. Areas of study include business, computers and technology, education, engineering, science, health sciences and medicine, social science and humanities and more.

To study at Ontario Tech, all students must be proficient in the English language. Those whose first language is not English, or who have not recently completed three years of study where the instruction was in English, must prove their ability through an accepted English test.

There is an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program available from the English Language Centre. This helps students who cannot currently meet the English language requirements for an academic program to develop their skills and progress into academic study.

International students will find comfortable accommodation that suits their needs at Ontario Tech. On-campus halls of residence offer a unique community atmosphere. Eligible first-year students have a guaranteed room if they apply by the given deadline.
Those who wish to live off-campus can receive resources and support from the university when looking for something suitable.
Eligible international students starting an undergraduate program at Ontario Tech can apply to receive up to CAD 30,000 per year over four years. Valued at CAD 120,000, this is one of Ontario Tech's most prestigious entrance awards.
International Merit Awards are valued at $20,000 CAD over four years ($5,000 CAD x four years) and will be awarded to applicants with a grade point average of 80 per cent or greater as calculated at the time of admission. [DZ1]
Eligible international students who have studied at a Canadian high school can receive up to $4,000 CAD in the first year of study. This is based on excellent scores in 4U/4M courses or equivalent.
Academic achievements during undergraduate studies are recognized. Students who have achieved a minimum 3.7 GPA (on a 4.3 scale) during the previous year and are returning to full-time study, will be automatically awarded a scholarship and notified through their student email account.

International students who want a good idea of what the campus experience is like, but can't visit the campus in person, can go on a virtual tour. Covering both campus locations, the virtual tour allows students to have a close look at and gain information about different buildings and areas of the university. Designed to help prospective students visualize life there, the tour can be viewed on a computer or mobile device, for a fully interactive experience.
