The University of Buckingham is one of Britain’s first independent universities, a home for original, aspiring students. The university continues to grow its academic expertise across a range of disciplines (humanities, business, education, medicine and health, computing and AI, psychology and law), building a strong base of teaching staff and international visiting lecturers to strengthen students learning experience. Established via a Royal Charter, university’s Oxbridge-style tutorials ensure that class sizes are small so every student can thrive.
The University’s Sport and Fitness programmes offer students the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities at both a recreational and competitive level. The Fitness Centre on Hunter Street is open from 6am to midnight, seven days a week, and is well equipped with weights, resistance and cardiovascular equipment.
Students will enjoy the quiet study spaces, breakout rooms and lounges at the two libraries on Buckingham Campus. There’s space to study, read, use University PCs, browse the shelves or carry out research. The university host a wide range of leading academic databases to provide students with the articles, data, cases and information they need to complete their assessments
Based in Buckingham on a beautiful riverside campus, the University is within easy reach of London, less than an hour from Oxford, and close to the M1 and M40. Milton Keynes central station is just 20 minutes’ drive away. As a non-profit organisation, 100 per cent of University tuition fees are reinvested in creating a five-star educational experience.
