Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Cybersecurity Engineering

The Graduate Certificate in Engineering program is designed to assist engineers and technical professionals in the development of their careers and to provide the expertise needed in the rapidly changing business, government, and industrial environments. Offered in collaboration with Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Computer Science, and the Maryland Cybersecurity Center, our Cybersecurity Engineering degree programs merge engineering applications with computer science principles.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, GPA of 3.0 or better, in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or physics from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of the following course (or its equivalent):
ENEE150, Intermediate Programming for Engineers
Applicants with a degree in a closely related field of study, such as data science, information technology, information assurance, or computer information systems, must also possess at least one of the following certifications:
CompTIA Security+
GIAC GSEC
Certified Ethical Hacker
Statement of Purpose

Letters of Recommendation (optional): Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required for anyone with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0.
