Our Ph.D. program in Sociology, with a specialization in social justice, responds to current social changes in workplace restructuring, the declining welfare state, privatization, processes of globalization, gender relations, sexuality, governance, security, and migration and immigration practices and policies. It offers resources for analyzing the social, cultural, and political implications of these many changes, and examines how various groups challenge existing forms of marginalization and social injustice.
