Here, the Universities try to fill the places that are available for their courses, which means that they can be a bit flexible regarding admission eligibility/conditions of offer/entry requirements. Please note, Clearing lasts from July-August to September Intake.

How to apply through Clearing?

  • Decide which course you want

  • Research which courses are still available through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) website or check university websites directly

  • Contact the university with your choice of course and grades

  • If you have received university offers, consider the one you want to go with, keeping in mind course, accommodation, campus, location, tuition, and expenses

  • Inform the chosen university that you have accepted the offer letter and add your clearing choice in UCAS

  • University will confirm your place in UCAS once they have acknowledged your acceptance of their offer letter
