I came to IDP with high expectations as they had already helped my elder brother with his application earlier. I was familiar with the environment and was confident about the positive results that my association with IDP would bring. Once into the IDP folds, I made a list of all universities in the USA that I wanted to apply to and the universities suggested by my counsellor. Thereafter, we shortlisted the universities as per my choice of subjects and applied to them. IDP helped me shortlist universities along with getting my essays edited. They helped me immensely with the overall admissions process. During the visa process, my counsellor provided me with a set of questions that I could be asked during the interview and also helped me sort all the financial documents needed. I was asked by my counsellor to apply to a good number of universities so as to get a wider option while choosing the course I wished to pursue. All the hard work paid off when I was offered admission in Bachelors (BSc) in Information Technology programme, the course I wanted to pursue, by University of Cincinnati, along with a good U.S. scholarship. I believe the U.S. experience will help me achieve my goals as I will be able to pursue a more flexible programme and gain ample practical experience.
