The Times Education Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by the Times Higher Education magazine. It is one of the three most popular rankings in the world along with the QS World University Ranking and Academic Ranking of World Universities. THE Rankings have evaluated 1,904 universities from 108 countries and territories this year.

The influencers under the THE ranking include teaching (29.5%), research (29%), citation (15%), industry income (4%), and international outlook (7.5%). *

Six Kiwi universities have been ranked in the top 500 which is consistent from last year. While the University of Auckland has gone down to 150 from 139, Massey University and the University of Canterbury have gone up to 501-600 from 601-800

The next THE World University Ranking is expected to come out in September 2024.
