The Times Education Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by the Times Higher Education magazine. It is one of the three most popular rankings in the world along with the QS World University Rankings and Academic Ranking of World Universities. THE Rankings have evaluated 1,904 universities from 108 countries and territories this year.
The influencers under the THE ranking include teaching (29.5%), research (29%), citation (15%), industry income (4%), and international outlook (7.5%). *
Eleven UK universities have been ranked in the top 500 vs. last year in which ten were ranked in the top 500. While The University of Oxford has maintained its number one position for quite some time, Imperial College London moved from up to rank 10 from 8 last year.
The next THE World University Ranking is expected to come out in September 2023.
