At CSC, USPI, students not only cultivate their academic experience, but also gain work experience through on campus student worker positions at the university. A few examples of student worker positions at CISSP include peer tutors with tutoring services, residential assistance with residential life, academic research assistants, with the academic departments and department assistants within some of the other units, such as library assistants and front desk workers.

A lot of jobs available on campus, such as student ambassador, events, catering, research assistant, and they are all posted on our online platform job shop. And they're designed to be specifically for students so that they're flexible and you can work alongside your studies.

And Shoreline Community College, there are a lot of options for on campus employment as an international student. We have our international student leaders or international student ambassadors. We have our conversational tutors. We have our newspaper options. We have student government. And the list goes on. If you're interested in working within the sports department or with faculty advisors, you have opportunities there as well as an F1 student, as an international student in the United States. On your visa, you're eligible to work up to 20 hours per week. Most students will work anywhere from 10 to maybe up to 15 hours on average. But with you AF1 visa, as an international student, you are able to work at your own community college for up to 20 hours per week in a wide variety of opportunities.

Hi there. This is a great question. Here at the University of Ottawa, students have a vast number of opportunities to work both on and off campus. You can work with the University of Ottawa as a teaching or research assistant, administrative support or even with support services off campus. Students can work in retail at the retail center mall or at a restaurant in the world famous ByWard market or even at one of our various coffee shops.
