The University of Winnipeg has always placed a high value in fostering environments that are free of discrimination and harassment. This has always been very apparent in the way our staff treat international students, the amount of programs that we have that allow students to study these areas. The University of Ottawa strives to create a welcoming community that has zero tolerance for racism, harassment and discrimination. Ottawa worked hard to make sure every single person is comfortable within the community. All faculty, student associations, wellness programs and the Office of Equity work tirelessly to reach this goal. Additionally, Ottawa provides resources that all students have access to, such as online modules, workshops and town halls to educate, promote and ensure the equity and diversity within the Ottawa community.
