User-generated Content Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use carefully, as they apply to your submitting content to IDP Education Ltd (“IDP”) social networks, websites and other forms of media (“User-generated Websites”).
IDP owns and/or operates various User-generated Websites that permit users to submit, post, publish, tag or upload (“Submit”) content, which may include, but is not limited to, chat, comments, graphics, information, photos, reviews, text, videos or any combination thereof (collectively, “Content”).
When you Submit Content to a User-generated Website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, which form a legally binding agreement between you and IDP. If you do not want to be bound by these Terms of Use, do not Submit Content.
In particular, but without limitation, you confirm the following:
You are granting IDP and its affiliates the right to use your Content on their social networks, websites and other forms of media described below, indefinitely;
You created the Content or have permission from the creator of the Content to grant the right to use the Content;
You have all necessary rights and permissions to grant the right to use the Content with respect to all individuals appearing in the Content;
You are at least 18 years of age.
Further, we may amend these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of the Website is considered to be acceptance of the amended Terms of Use.
Content
When you Submit your Content, you authorise IDP and its affiliates a non-exclusive, fully paid-up, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license (including the right to sub-license through multiple tiers) to use, adapt, display, distribute, modify, process, prepare derivative works, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, reproduce and transmit your Content, in part or in full, in any form, medium or distribution method, for any purpose, including without limitation, any purpose relating to the advertising, marketing, and promotion of IDP’s and its affiliates’ goods and services. These uses may include, but are not limited to, posting your Content on social networks or websites, transmitting your Content via emails, displaying your Content on computers or mobile devices, or reproducing your Content in print.
Any Content you Submit is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. IDP may use any Content you Submit and reproduce it for any purpose. Specifically, IDP is free to use for any purposes whatsoever (including, but not limited to, the advertising, developing, manufacturing and marketing of products and services) any artwork, concepts, ideas or suggestions contained in any Content you Submit. Any such use is without compensation to you. By Submitting Content, you are also warranting that you own the Content Submitted and that IDP’s use will not violate any third party's rights or otherwise place us in breach of any applicable laws. IDP is under no obligation to use the information Submitted. You understand that IDP employs both internal and external resources which may have developed or may in the future develop ideas identical or similar to your Content and that IDP is only willing to consider the Content on these terms.
To request removal of your Content from IDP User-generated Websites, please email spmarketing@idp.com. You must include a link to the Content you wish to have removed. IDP will use reasonable efforts to remove the Content within ten business days of your request.
Prohibited Content
When using IDP User-generated Websites, you agree not to upload, post, or transmit any Content that:
is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing, offensive, or discriminatory;
violates any applicable laws or regulations;
infringes any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third-party; or
contains viruses, malware, or any other harmful code that could damage or interfere with IDP’s Websites, systems or data.
IDP reserves the right to monitor, review, and, at its sole discretion, remove any Content that violates these Terms of Use or that IDP otherwise deems inappropriate.

Migration Preliminary Consultation - Information
What we do
Your Consultation will comprise one initial consultation of up to one hour to discuss visa options based on your goals, eligibility, background and needs.
What we don’t do
Our services are limited to the Consultation described above. If you have already had a Consultation or otherwise wish to engage IDP to provide any further assistance, such as assisting you to prepare and lodge your visa application, reviewing application forms or checking documents we will provide you with a new Visa Services Agreement which will apply in relation to those services. Fees & Payment
Our fees for the Consultation are AU$99 for a session up to 30 minutes, inclusive of GST. These fees are payable via Stripe* when the session is booked.
If you engage us to provide further assistance, the fees for that assistance will be set out in a new Visa Services Agreement.
The fees for the Consultation will be credited towards the fees charged under the new Visa Services Agreement, provided the new agreement is signed within 2 months of the Consultation. No credit will be given after 2 months from the date of the first Consultation.
External Fees and Disbursements
No external fees or disbursements are payable at the Consultation stage.
Cancellation and Refunds
You should if you no longer wish to proceed with the Consultation. We will send you a written confirmation of the cancellation and, provided you notify us during regular business hours at least 24 hours before your appointment, will refund any pre-paid fees within fourteen (14) days of you providing us with your bank account details. No refund will be given for no-shows (with or without any reason) or if you give us less than the required notice of cancellation.
Other Important Information
Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to all Personal Information and Sensitive Information that we collect from you.
Our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.idp.com/australia/privacy-policy/, contains important information about our obligations and your rights. By using our Services, you consent to the terms set out in our Privacy Policy.
We will collect, hold and use your Personal Information and Sensitive Information for the purpose of providing the Consultation.
Your file
Any documents collected from you at your Consultation will be kept on file, along with a record of any instructions you give us and any advice we give you. This information, together with any other documents we are required to keep on your file will be retained for a period of seven (7) years following the end of our services (either under this Agreement or a new Visa Services Agreement) after which time your file will be destroyed. We will provide you with a copy of your file and copies of your application and any related documents upon request. Please note an administrative fee may be charged for such time and cost of copies.
Complaints
Any complaints should be directed to your Contact Person. We will endeavour to resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
These services are provided in accordance with all Australian laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), however we do not provide any guarantees other than as set out in the ACL.
In particular, we cannot guarantee that your application will be successful, or any specific response times.
The provision of our services is compliant with the Consumer Guide, found at : https://www.mara.gov.au/get-help-visa-subsite/FIles/consumer_guide_english.pdf, and the Code, which can be viewed at https://www.mara.gov.au/tools-for-agents-subsite/Files/code-of-conduct-march-2022.pdf. You may also request a copy of the Code from us.
Should the terms of this Agreement be inconsistent with the Code, the Code will take precedence.
*Stripe is a third party payment platform. You may be required to accept Stripe’s terms and conditions prior to making any payment. IDP Education accept no liability for Stripe.
