Admission requirements for 1-year master's programs in Canada

To get successfully admitted to a master’s program in Canada, students must meet the requirements listed by the university they’re applying to. The following are general requirements that all students must meet: 

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is a requirement for all applicants. 

  • English Language Proficiency Test Scores: Applicants must achieve the required minimum scores on English language proficiency exams, such as the PTE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc... 

  • Work Experience: A minimum of one to two years of relevant work experience is required by some universities. 

  • Student Visa: Students can apply for a study visa to Canada as soon as they receive their acceptance letter from the university of their choice.
