English test requirements for 476 Visa

 Here are the required points for various international English language tests to obtain a 476 Visa, as mandated by the Department of Home Affairs: 

  • IELTS: Minimum 6 points overall, with a minimum of 5 points for each test component. 

  • TOEFL: Total of 64 points, with the below minimum points specified for each component: 

  • Listening: 4 

  • Reading: 4 

  • Writing: 14 

  • Speaking: 14 

  • PTE: Total of 50 points, with each component requiring a minimum of 36 points. 

  • OET: Each test component requires a B grade. 

  • Cambridge C1 Advanced test: Total of 169 points, with a minimum of 154 issues in each test component.
