Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education: Empowering Filipino Students for Success

There are several ways in which AI impacts education – studying abroad included. Looking at its advantages, it is true that because of how it is meant to function using intuitive algorithms to provide great aid and experience to its users, AI in education could provide students personalized learning experiences.

1. ChatGPT 3 – This form of generative AI is what comes to mind when talking about AI. This tool functions primarily as an online engine or “chat” machine that students can ask a wide array of questions or commands simply by entering a prompt. 

2. Grammarly – This writing-assistant application is a tool students can use to proofread, grammar-check, and help them with their writing. AI in this software works in such a way to personally help its user write drafts or rewrite an already existing text with a different tone and length. 

3. Quillbot – Much like Grammarly, Quillbot is also a writing-assistant tool that primarily serves to help its users rewrite and paraphrase texts to avoid cases of plagiarism.  

4. Adobe Express – Now, if students are familiar with Canva, they should also check out Adobe Express: Adobe’s newest content-creator. This app will help users create graphics for social media, edit videos, and even make marketing materials. 

5. Otter AI – And lastly, AI–powered software which transcribes speech to text. Students can use Otter AI especially when attending online classes or meetings as it shows live captions of speakers and generates speech transcriptions.

Students can use AI to support their learning of data mining and data analytics, game development, and even machine learning—such as pattern recognitions, algorithm programming, creations of application for image recognition and such.
