IDP Philippines holds Australia and New Zealand Education Fair in Cebu and Makati

Filipino students planning to study abroad are one step closer to achieving their dream after attending IDP Philippines’ Study, Explore, Soar: Australia & New Zealand Education Fair.  

IDP Philippines’ Study, Explore, Soar: Australia & New Zealand Education Fair is a free two-day event held back-to-back on August 3 and 4 in Seda Ayala Center Cebu and Dusit Thani Hotel Makati. The fair is organized regularly by IDP Philippines, serving as a platform for aspiring international students to begin their study abroad journey.  

The recent event had nearly 500 attendees who were given the opportunity to learn about different school options in their target destinations. Representatives from 37 schools in Australia and New Zealand were present at the fair, too, to talk to aspiring international students and give advice regarding the courses and application process in their institution. 

At the fair, attendees had the unique opportunity to receive personalized counseling from IDP Education’s expert counselors. This guidance was instrumental in helping them identify the right school and degree programs based on their interests and skills, making their study abroad journey more focused and successful. 

IDP Philippines also invited a representative from the Australian Embassy to discuss updates regarding student migration in the country. Australia has recently imposed new student visa regulations that affected aspiring Filipino international students.  

A team from IDP IELTS was also present at the event to provide guidance about the required English language skills exam. They were also given the opportunity to try the exam through the IELTS-on-Computer Simulation. Attendees who booked an exam at the IELTS booth received discounts. 

They also got to play games and had the chance to win exclusive prizes. 

IDP Philippines will continue to hold similar events in the future. These educational fairs, held virtually and physically, help aspiring international students in the Philippines find the right track in their study abroad journey.
