1. Online application form

First and foremost, you will need to start by completing the online application form. The application should be done on the Immigration Registration and Advisory Board (IRB) website.

2. Application Letter

Your application letter must include the following:

  • Reason why you are coming to Ireland

  • Commitment to your arrival and departure

  • Commitment that you will obey all the conditions of your visa and not become a burden to Ireland or the state

  • Commitment that you will depart before your immigration expires

3. Two (2) recent colored passport size photo with white background

Your full name and visa application reference number must be indicated at the back of the photo.

4. Current passport and full copy of all previous passports

Current passport must be valid for 12 months.

5. Letter of Acceptance from the university

This is to confirm whether you have been accepted to study in an Irish university.

6. Proof of accounting of any gaps in educational history (If applicable)

You must disclose all information gaps in your educational history and must cover the full period until the date of your application to Ireland. You must also disclose your employment records.

7. Proof of payment to the registrar and tuition fees

Valid receipt indicating that the degree or course fees were paid to the authorized student payment service.

8. Proof of student or sponsor’s sufficient funds

You must prove that you or your sponsor have sufficient funds to finance your stay in Ireland and must be done without the use of public funds or casual labor.

9. Medical Insurance

Medical Insurance is required to cover all medical expenses or hospitalization.

10. English language proficiency test

You must prove that you have the ability to complete your selected degree in English and must have the basic level of English before studying in Ireland.
