Selection criteria:
To be eligible for the £3,000 Red Dragon Scholarship, students must:
be domiciled in Mainland China
be classed an international fee-paying student
be holding an offer for a full-time campus-based postgraduate taught masters programme at Cardiff University commencing in September 2025 at the point of submitting a scholarship application
have accepted their academic course offer by the deadline of the scholarship round in which they are applying
have submitted the scholarship application by the deadline of the scholarship round in which they are applying
meet all the offer conditions (if applicable), including any English Language conditions, as stated in their offer letter, by Monday 22 September 2025.
To apply for the Red Dragon Scholarship, students must submit a completed application form by the deadline of the scholarship round in which they are applying:
Round 1: 31 March 2025
Round 2: 31 May 2025
Round 3: 8 August 2025
