The name of the bursary recipient will be shared with the donors.
The recipient will be required to submit a one page annual report at the end of the academic year which will be sent to the donors.
The recipient may be asked to provide a testimonial on the impact the bursary has made.
Please submit a 500 word essay (together with your course application if you have yet to apply) to the following topic:
''Why is the role of foreign correspondents still important within the huge tide of information available?''
Please include 'BEESTON Bursary' in the email subject header.
Open to any student from overseas accepted on the MA International Journalism course.

The Richard Beeston Bursary will support an International student on the Master's in International Journalism course at City, University of London.
Established in memory of the distinguished foreign editor of The Times, Richard Beeston this will provide a student with a £6,000 bursary towards living costs.
