If you are applying from England, Wales, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland and you choose to study your undergraduate degree at Glasgow Caledonian University, you may be eligible to receive £6,000 cashback over three years and a final-year fee waiver worth £9,535 if you are completing a four-year degree or £8,000 cashback over four years and a final year fee waiver (£9,535) if completing a five-year degree programme.
This is a non-repayable bursary and scholarship. It is applicable to any full-time undergraduate applicant from England, Wales, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland who will be paying?their tuition fees via a loan from SAAS, Student Finance England, Student Finance Northern Ireland or Student Finance Wales or self funding.
The RUK (Rest of the UK) and Ireland Common Good Bursary entitles you to:
- £2,000 cash bursary for each of the first three years of your degree years paid over three instalments each year.
- A tuition fee waiver in your final year if you are completing a four-years honours programme worth £9,535.
For five year programmes below:
- MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- MEng Electrical Power Engineering
- Meng Mechanical Engineering
- MOptom (IP) Optometry with Independent Prescribing
You will receive £2,000 cash bursary for each of the first 4 years paid over 3 instalments and a final year fee waiver worth £9,535.
This is an automatic award which is only available to prospective students from these areas but you must upload your bank details on your student portal to ensure we can make these payments to you once you are asked to register on your course.
