Selection criteria:
Scholarship award-holders will receive £3,000 per year for three years (excluding a placement year). These cash bursaries are funded through donations from alumni and friends of the University. The awarding criteria for this scholarship is currently under review, more information will be provided in due course.
You will automatically receive an invitation to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship if:
You have applied to study at Loughborough and have received an offer from us
Your UCAS application shows that you have verified free school meal status
In order to be considered for this scholarship:
You will also need to have a current household income of less than £30,000 per year – this will be verified when you apply for your student loan and agree to your personal information being shared.
You will also need to select Loughborough as your firm choice
Please note that if we are unable to offer you an opportunity scholarship and your household income is less than £25,000 per year you will automatically receive the Loughborough Bursary which is £1,200 per year of study
