For international students completing Year 13 (or equivalent) at a NZ high school/learning institution in 2024 and intending to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree at UoW in A Trimester 2025. Students must have completed study at NCEA Level 2 and/or 3, or equivalent.
- have completed NCEA Level 3 with University Entrance, at a high school in New Zealand
- be applying to enrol full-time (120 points) for the first time in an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Waikato
- Candidates who are taking ONE ‘gap year' in the year of application may also be considered provided they have achieved NCEA Level 3, or equivalent, in the year prior and have not commenced or completed another tertiary qualification during this gap year.
- Students who have achieved University Entrance based on NCEA Level 2. These students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
