Eligible students must submit applicable application form including a letter (max 750 words) outlining the student's demonstrated involvement in the community since entering the Faculty as a graduate student.
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to Graduate Certificate students.
- Selection based on satisfactory Academic Standing.
- Must be registered full-time in any graduate program in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.
- Preference given to a student who is a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Students' Association.
- Selection based on satisfactory academic standing.
- Selection based on demonstrated involvement in coaching, athletics (cross-country
- long distance running, hockey, rowing).
- Selection based on involvement in the broader community through sport, recreation, rehabilitation and mental health & wellness initiatives.
- Award can only be held once by a student.
By Nomination Only: Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty) and will be part of a competitive adjudication. The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
