IVC Evidensia believe in a level playing field for all in the veterinary industry, which is why they have launched their ethnic diversity scholarship scheme. Focused on investing in and supporting people from minority ethnic backgrounds to start their careers as veterinary professionals. The Scholarship programme is part of a wider commitment to supporting ethnic diversity across the veterinary professions.
Successful candidates will be awarded an annual grant, mentoring from our ethnic diversity scholarship board members, and a support network to help them through their studies.
The value of the scholarship is £5,000 per annum (available for vet medicine 5 & 6-year courses). Paid in 4 equal instalments through the academic year.
You must be a UK or EU citizen who self-identifies as being from the ethnic diversity community and who is applying to enter one of the UK or ROI veterinary schools. The financial background of your family will be taken into account during the application process and priority will be given to those who are eligible for maintenance loans. You will need to upload your student finance letter.
