The University of Essex is offering a £500 bursary to black, Arab or mature students progressing from undergraduate study at the University of Essex, to a postgraduate Masters course in academic year. This applies whether progressing directly or following a gap in study. Students must also be self-funding all their tuition fee.
Eligibility
These scholarships are restricted to students who are entirely self-funded.
Students must have an ethnic origin of Black or Arab or have been classed as a mature student at undergraduate level (students who start their undergraduate degree at 21 or over).
The award is available to students starting an eligible postgraduate Masters course in academic year, who have previously completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Essex. This applies whether progressing directly or following a gap in study.
Students must register for a full-time or part-time postgraduate Masters course, leading to the degree of MA, MSc, MBA, LLM, MFA, MAPH, or MRes at the University of Essex in January 2025.
This bursary may be held in conjunction with other University of Essex scholarships and discounts, for example, the Alumni Loyalty Discount.
Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.
