Schools and Colleges Membership Bursary

Eligibility

This bursary is restricted to students who have completed their studies at one of our Schools and Colleges Membership Plus, London, South East or Midlands schools/colleges in academic year 2025-26 (noted in the tables above).

Students must be progressing directly from their studies at one of the named schools/colleges listed above.

Students must register for their first year of a full-time undergraduate degree** at the University of Essex in October 2025-26.

UCAS applicants must actively make Essex their firm choice by 12 September 2025. Applicants that become firm with Essex through rejection by their original firm choice selection elsewhere are not eligible. Direct applicants via Clearing must actively accept their offer and make Essex their firm choice by 12 September 2025.

This bursary may be held in conjunction with other University of Essex awards, including but not limited to:

• Essex Futures Bursary 2025-26
• Essex Preparation Programme Bursary 2025-26.

This scholarship/bursary is available for the first year of study at undergraduate level in 2025-26 only.

Successful recipients should be available for promotional activities.
