Dr Williams's Trust offers bursaries to cover the part-time tuition fees (£5025 a year) to candidates from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland from the historic Protestant dissenting denominations or their successors. Candidates must be ministers, pastors, chaplains in good standing with their church denomination or employing body, who desiring to be better educated for their ministry, wish to undertake a period of at least one year's study leading to a higher degree. Preference is given to those belonging to one of the following denominations (URC, Congregational, Baptist, Unitarian, Quaker). It must be the intention of the candidate to continue in Protestant ministry in the United Kingdom.
