Selection will be based on, academic excellence (40%) research potential (40%) intellectual curiosity/critical thinking/passion (20%). Students must maintain satisfactory progress for the duration of the scholarship.

Students entering full-time graduate studies or are currently in semesters 1-3 of a full-time graduate program at time of application, who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit or Metis).
Apply by February 1 The online Indigenous Graduate Scholarship Application Form is available on the OGPS website and includes a required declaration of Indigenous identity including information about your relationship to a First Nation, Inuit or Metis community, treaty, scrip, land claim, territory or region. Applicants must also submit a one page research proposal and resume/CV via the application form. Two letters of support from academic and/or community-based references must also be sent directly through mail.
