For January 2025 entry, we're offering scholarships worth £10,000 each to eligible students on one of our two postgraduate Data Science conversion courses MSc Data Science and MSc Internet of Things with Data Science.
Funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and Office for Artificial Intelligence, the scholarships are designed to increase diversity in the AI and data science sector and to support students from underrepresented groups to access, participate and succeed in higher education.
Students who successfully apply for a scholarship will receive £10,000 to help with course fees, and associated costs such as living costs, childcare and transport. Scholarships will be paid out in three regular intervals across the duration of course.
Who can apply?
Scholarships are available to UK students with home fee status, who are a member of one or more of the following underrepresented groups (priority will be given to the first four groups):
- Women
- Black students
- Disabled students
- Students from lower socio-economic backgrounds
- Students who have been in care
- Students estranged from their parents or guardians
- Gypsy, Roma, Traveller students
- Refugees
- Children from military families, veterans and partners of military personnel
