Progression scholarships are awarded by a committee before progression to the university and are only applicable to international fee-paying students joining the University of Surrey. The committee will make a final decision based on numerous factors, though students must be in the top 50% of academic performers in their pathway intake. The committee's decision is final and entirely at their discretion.
The scholarships are only available to self-funded full international fee-paying students and will be withdrawn if these criteria are not met. The amount of progression scholarships available for progression is split between the International Study Centre intakes. The number and value of scholarships available for each intake is published at the time of application for each intake, please contact the International Study Centre office for full information.
Students who join an International Foundation Year, International Year One or Pre-Masters Programme can take advantage of progression scholarships. These are available exclusively to students progressing to the University of Surrey from the International Study Centre.

These scholarships will be awarded and discounted from your first-year undergraduate or postgraduate fees when you progress to the University of Surrey.

To progress to your chosen university degree, you must achieve the required academic and English language grades.
All International Foundation Year and International Year One pathways - Scholarships available worth up to £3,000 each All Pre-Masters Programme pathways - Scholarships available worth up to £1,000 each.
