The scholarship is available to UWE Bristol alumni and will provide a tuition fee discount of 50% on full-time and part-time postgraduate courses.
A key UWE Bristol priority is transforming futures. We are committed to helping our undergraduates enhance their careers through further study on postgraduate courses that give the opportunity to develop the business skills, awareness and confidence needed to aspire to management positions in many professions and business sectors.
We are pleased to offer a number of Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships for the academic year. The scholarships provide a tuition fee discount of 50% on selected full-time and part-time postgraduate courses.
You are eligible to apply if you fit into the below criteria:
- You have graduated from a UWE Bristol undergraduate course or are due to graduate in the current academic year.
- You are starting your postgraduate course.
College of Business and Law
50 scholarships available
College of Arts, Technology and Environment
25 scholarships available
College of Health, Science and Society
60 scholarships available
The following courses are excluded from the Scholarship:
Doctor of Biomedical Science
MSc Rehabilitation
PGCEs
Distance Learning Courses
Degree Apprenticeships
Applications open in March 2025 and close on 30 June (UK students) or 30 April (non-UK students).
You will be contacted about the results of the Scholarship application 14 days after the deadline above. You will have 14 days to confirm acceptance if you are successful.
Your application will be evaluated on:
your interest in the subject area – you should demonstrate a strong passion for the course you've applied for and explain how it aligns with your future career plans.
personal motivation – you should show your commitment to your chosen field of study and your drive to succeed at postgraduate level.
alignment with our values – you should highlight how the experiences and skills learnt on your undergraduate course will help you achieve your career goals.
potential for impact – you should indicate how you plan to use your postgraduate education to make a difference in your field.
This will be assessed through a series of questions in the Scholarship's application form.
