- Graduate students registered full time in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science or in the Faculty of Arts who have an area of interest in computational rhetoric.
- Selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum A-cumulative average in their current program) and demonstrated interest in computational rhetoric.
A scholarship valued at CAN $2,500, will be awarded annually to a graduate student registered full time in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science or the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo with a demonstrated area of interest in computational rhetoric. The application form can be found on the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science website. Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum A-cumulative average in their current program) and interest in computational rhetoric as demonstrated in the application. This fund is made possible by a donation from Sam Pasupalak in honour of Professor Chrysanne DiMarco's excellent teaching and mentorship.

Interested students must submit an application to the Department Graduate Co-ordinator in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science by October 15th in order to be considered.
