Students in the Master of Public Service (MPS) program who have arranged an internship are eligible to be considered for this award, valued at a maximum of CAN $3,000. Decisions relating to the allocation of internship awards, and the amounts awarded to each recipient, are made by the Director of the Master of Public Service program.

Decisions relating to the allocation of internship awards, and the amounts awarded to each recipient, are made by the Director of the Master of Public Service program. Decisions are based on the anticipated costs associated with a particular internship, considerations related to financial need, as well as the availability of awards. The maximum award a student would receive is CAN $3,000 per term.
Eligibility & selection criteria:
Students in the Master of Public Service program who are unable to secure paid co-op employment, and who have arranged an unpaid internship, are eligible to be considered for this award.

Additional instructions:
Students must submit to the MPS Program Officer an application that describes the internship and provides an estimate of costs for the term. The application form is available on the MPS Learn site and is due on the last business day of the first month of the internship term.
