Awarded alternately between the Department of History and Classics and the Department of Political Science
Nominee is studying Canadian history OR Canadian government and politics
Awarded on the basis of superior academic standing (equivalent to a GPA of 3.5 or greater)
Awarded on the basis of research potential
In even-numbered years, this scholarship is awarded to a nominee in the Department of History and Classics in odd-numbered years, this scholarship is awarded to a nominee in the Department of Political Science
In the event that a nominee cannot be found in the specified department, the scholarship may be awarded to a nominee registered in the other department or may not be awarded that year
In nominating a nominee for the scholarship, the departments may take financial need into consideration
Open to Canadian citizens.
