CONACYT Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student commencing an applicable postgraduate (coursework) degree on-campus and meet the following criteria:

Be a citizen of Mexico.

Hold a full offer for one the courses listed in the 'Applicable course' section below (single or double degree).

Achieve a minimum WAM of 65 or equivalent for Postgraduate (coursework) applications.

Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.

Must not have received a scholarship or sponsorship from Macquarie University or another organisation for the degree (unless stated otherwise by the Scholarship Committee).

This scholarship offers students who will be enrolling into a postgraduate program at Macquarie University a 30% waiver on total tuition fees.

About the scholarship

This scholarship offers students who will be enrolling into a postgraduate master's or PhD programs at Macquarie University with a 30% award of total tuition fees. CONACYT will cover the remaining tuition fee according to its scholarship conditions, plus a monthly stipend of approximately USD $1,000 and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Priority will be given to students commencing a non-business postgraduate coursework program who have completed a degree at an institution in Mexico.
