How to book your IELTS test?

You can either book your IELTS test online or visit the nearest IDP branch for offline booking.

Here’s how:

• Go to our IELTS test centres page

• Pick your preferred test location.

• Select your test type (be very careful while choosing your desired test type)

  • IELTS Academic or General Training,

  • IELTS for UKVI,

  • IELTS Life Skills A1 or Life Skills B1

• Choose your preferred delivery format

  • On Computer

  • On Paper

• Select your desired date and time slot from the available options.

• Provide the necessary details and complete your online application.

• Remember, you'll also need to upload a clear, scanned color copy of your passport to finalise the process.

• Proceed to make the test fee payment.

Once you've successfully booked your test date, you'll receive an acknowledgment via your registered email or phone number.

To schedule the Speaking test, you can conveniently book a slot online on your preferred date and time. In case you miss selecting a slot within the provided timeframe, an automated allocation will be made for you. (Note: *This is applicable for IELTS on Paper test takers.)

How much does the IELTS test cost?

Payment can be made either in office or online. You may pay using a credit card, debit card or by cash/NETS at the IDP Singapore office. It is also mandatory for foreign nationals and permanent residents to upload a clear scanned colour copy of your passport. For Singapore citizens, your pink IC will do.

A final confirmation email of your successful IELTS test Booking, consisting of the test date, time and venue will be sent five to seven days. Please do ensure to check your spam/junk folder for the confirmation email before calling in. If bookings are made five days or fewer before the test date, the final confirmation email will be sent as soon as possible.
