Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours)

BAdvSc(Hons) graduates will have advanced knowledge and understanding in their chosen field of science. They will be critical and reflective, with research capability. They will have demonstrated the ability to engage in a limited period of research, and be prepared for the workplace. Many will progress to further study at doctoral level

Applicants must have completed one or more years in a Bachelor of Science with a B+ grade average or achieved NCEA level 3 with a rank score of at least 260 (or 310 in CIE, or 33 in IB) and at least 16 credits each in two subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Physics, and Science, or equivalent CIE, or IB in university approved subjects.
International Baccalaureate (IB) with successful completion of a minimum of 24 points.

General Certificate of Education (GCE) with three A-levels including at least one C grade or better. A result in General Studies cannot be included among the 3 on which the application is based.
A minimum of CCC scores (7 points) across the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)
Acceptance of the NCUK English for Academic Purposes qualification as an alternative to meeting the English-language requirements, with a minimum of a C grade overall and no less than D grade in each component.

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall with all bands 5.5 or higher, or equivalent. TOEFL IBT 80.
