Ontario College Diploma Biotechnology (Co-op)

The two-year (four-semester) Biotechnology diploma program will focus on cell biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, proteomics, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. Students will have the opportunity to learn in and experience Fanshawe’s leading-edge Centre for Applied Research in Biotechnology (CARIB) facility and the program also incorporates paid co-operative work experience to help create a graduate who’s in demand.
In this two-year program, you'll dive into diverse topics such as cell biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, proteomics, biochemistry and bioinformatics.This program offers dynamic laboratory experiences led by industry professionals, providing real-world insights and hands-on experience. Students will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative research projects, fostering a learning environment that goes beyond textbooks, creating a graduate with a skill set employers want.
