Undergraduate Certificate in Computer Science

The Computer Science certificate program equips students with a fundamental understanding of computer science through problem solving and programming languages. Using industry-standard practices, students explore algorithms, logic, functions, and control flow. This program focuses on hands-on projects that expand critical-thinking skills, teamwork, and creativity in development.

The goal of the Computer Science undergraduate certificate program is to provide students with a foundational understanding of computer science. Students will obtain basic skills and practice with concepts that will be translatable to entry-level positions as quality assurance testers, scripters, and tool developers. In addition to building introductory programming experience, students in this program will broaden their technical proficiency as well as creativity in development. The Computer Science undergraduate certificate program will help students foster the critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills required to enter the computer science and software development industries.

Interview with Admissions Representative
The interview can be conducted via phone, Skype, or other communication tool. The interview will cover the program, admissions requirements (including the steps to submit the application), and seat deposit of $200 (campus degree only).
High School/Secondary School Transcript (required for undergraduate degree programs)
Applicants who have completed high school at a foreign institution must provide official documentation which will be evaluated in-house for equivalence. Documentation not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
Verification of Language Proficiency
Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate the required level of language proficiency by providing documentation of one of the following-
TOEFL iBT minimum required score of 79
IELTS Academic minimum required score of 6.5
