Bachelor of Creative Arts (Film and Television) (Standard)

The world just can’t get enough of the magic of the moving image, and the global uptake of digital streaming technology is creating unprecedented demand for professional content creators, compelling storytellers and savvy producers. This course will equip you with cutting edge skills to competently approach any project you choose.
Film TV at JMC is a hands-on production-based course that will give you the knowledge and the creative, technical and managerial skills to create and produce leading content for film, TV, live broadcasts, documentaries, commercials and music videos.
At Bachelor level, work on a short film, a TV commercial, a music video and a large-scale outside broadcast to create your professional showreel and filmography. Develop your creative expression and technical skills whilst mastering screenwriting, directing, cinematography, motion graphics and post-production, to launch you into the heart of the industry.

For applicants who have not completed senior high school, entry to a Diploma, upon successful completion of which articulation into a Bachelor Degree program is guaranteed, is based on:

Evidence of minimum completion of Year 10, or equivalent, with an appropriate VET qualification and/or relevant industry work experience.
Written application (with compulsory 200 word statement to assess functional literacy).
An interview to identify potential difficulties that may impact on learning.
Demonstrated commitment with satisfactory communication skills sufficient to indicate reasonable likelihood of successful completion of Diploma studies.
A portfolio of work or performance audition (if applicable).
Demonstrated (above average) creative aptitude or expertise pertinent to field of interest.

An overall score of 6.0 with no single band score below 5.5
TOEFL:
iBT: 73 overall with a minimum writing score of 18
