MPhil/PhD in Fashion and Clothing

Within a PhD or other postgraduate research degree programme in the areas of fashion and clothing you will:

Our dedicated fashion workshops offer an extensive array of industry-standard clothing facilities: virtual design software, construction and finishing equipment that includes ultrasonic welding, bonding, and laser cutting/etching, 3D whole body scanning, as well as a textile testing laboratory.

You should, as a minimum, have a first or 2.1 honours degree or an equivalent qualification.
International students must demonstrate a sufficiently high standard of English language ability. In order to enter most postgraduate courses the English requirements are IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 575, and TOEFL computer-based 230.
Please be aware the University may not be able to make a decision on your application without the academic transcript for your highest qualification. An interim transcript may be acceptable if the qualification is not yet complete.

There is no deadline for applications to our postgraduate programmes, however we recommend you apply as early as possible to allow for processing of applications and visas.
