Stern's undergraduate specialization in real estate provides rigorous theoretical and practical training across the breadth of institutional commercial real estate activities, including: Real estate finance and capital markets, including financial instruments where real estate serves as the underlying asset, such as Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities (RMBS and CMBS), and related derivative and structured finance products, Real estate property, portfolio, and fund valuation and investment analysis, Real estate development and project entrepreneurship, Real estate data analytics, innovation, and technology-driven change, Global real estate markets and cross-border development, investment, and finance, and, The economic, legal, tax, and regulatory environments of real estate investment.
The NYU Stern School of Business offers a STEM-certified Bachelor of Science degree that integrates an exceptional business education with a grounding in the liberal arts. NYU Stern students take elective courses from across the University to broaden their intellectual experience.
