Doctor of Philosophy in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences

The PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Program offered by the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS) develops future leaders within focused domains who advance healthcare through research, teaching, and outreach in the health and rehabilitation sciences disciplines. School members are expected to become stewards of the science by applying rigorous scientific methods, and cutting-edge analytical approaches in a focused domain. Being at the scientific forefront facilitates a culture of knowledge and innovation, and is fundamental to becoming a steward of one's profession. Our faculty and graduates will lead their disciplines by engaging in life-long research, effectively disseminating scientific discoveries, and performing service to their professions.

A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program.
A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for the last degree earned.
