Location

The main campus is in Stillwater, which is in north-central Oklahoma. Stillwater was ranked one of the 50 best college towns in America (MSN, 2021). The campus is just 60 miles from the state's largest cities, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Travel within Stillwater using community buses and transit are free for OSU students and staff. Stillwater Regional Airport is 10 minutes away from campus and offers daily round trip flights to Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport.

College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology

Degrees from this college are accredited by the ABET. The program offers students interactive courses and chances to participate in cutting-edge research at the state-of-the-art ENDEAVOR lab. The 72,000 square feet lab allows students to practice and apply their classroom knowledge in real life.

Ferguson College of Agriculture

This college provides hands-on learning and research opportunities across a variety of agricultural areas. Freshman international students are qualified for assured admission if they meet the following criteria:

• High School GPA 3.0+ (based on a 4.0 scale)
• iBT TOEFL Score 61+ OR IELTS Academic Score 5.5+ OR PTE Academic Score 5.5+ OR iTEP Academic Score 3.5+ OR Duolingo English Test Score* 95+
• International students are required to submit the following as part of their OSU admissions application:
• Completed online application OR Common App
• Application fee (USD 90)
• English proficiency test scores
• Official high school transcripts with GPA minimum average of 3.0 (or equivalent)
• College transcript from all institutions attended (if college credit has been achieved)
• Copy of the passport identification page
• Financial guarantee document and bank certification

All submitted transcripts must be in the original language of the institution who awarded it, as well as translated into English.

Ranked as one of the top 100 academic research libraries in the U.S, the university's main Edmon Low library houses an extensive collection of resources and several support services. Staffed by subject-specific librarians, its facilities include:

There are more than 30 residential halls and neighborhoods on campus, and accommodation styles include halls, suites, deluxe suites and apartments. Students can select to live with peers on the same course or with similar interests.

OSU dining options include nearly 30 self-operated cafeterias, convenience stores, franchises and restaurants which cater for a variety of dietary requirements such as halal, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free.

The university has been listed amongst 26 national universities for its high-quality fitness facilities, as well as medical and mental health services (Greatist.com). The Colvin Recreation Center boasts 250,000 sq. feet of recreational facilities that includes various courts, dance studios, an indoor track, fitness and weights rooms, golf simulators and a climbing wall.

The Seretean Wellness Center boasts a full kitchen for cooking classes, personal training sessions, massage therapy rooms, group fitness rooms, cardio rooms and counseling rooms, as well as a training and fitness testing center.

The Department of Wellness also provides high-quality facilities including fitness centers, game rooms and a sand volleyball court. It also has a variety of programs that focus on students' mental health and provides resources, self-help modules and expanded mental health services for those on and off campus.

Tuition costs and general fees at Oklahoma State are 69 percent of the national average for land-grant institutions, and cost of attendance is 78 percent of the national average. Since 2000, the university has been consistently named in Kiplinger's personal finance list for best college value.

The range of scholarships and funding provided by the university further help to make it an affordable institution for students to attend. Almost 50 percent of students graduate with no debt, with the average debt being USD 20,500, which is below the national average.

International students are eligible for a range of scholarships, varying between USD 5,000 – 15,000 per academic year. Students are automatically considered for institutional scholarships when they apply to OSU. No additional application for OSU scholarships is required.

Scholarships provided by the university include the International Achievement Freshman Scholarship and International Achievement Transfer Scholarship. Both are based on English language test scores, SAT scores and GPA scores, and both award recipients with a partial tuition fee waiver.

The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is based on whether a parent or grandparent graduated from OSU and awards a partial tuition waiver. Students are required to submit a form to be eligible for this scholarship.

Students are also considered for several competitive academic scholarships. Awards and requirements are unique to each academic college, and they are usually assessed on academic test results, community engagement, essay responses, interviews, and auditions.
