ONCAMPUS Ireland offers international students the opportunity to learn essential language and academic skills on a specialist pre-university programme, allowing them to then begin an undergraduate qualification in Ireland.
ONCAMPUS offers courses at locations around the world and is expanding its European offering with ONCAMPUS Ireland delivered at UniHaven College in Maynooth, around 30 minutes from the capital city of Dublin. Students will study an International Foundation Studies Programme, and on successful completion, are able to progress onto degree programmes at many Irish partner universities.

The QQI level 5 study programme provided at UniHaven College via ONCAMPUS Ireland is a year-long programme that offers two pathway streams, tailored to different areas of study.
At their core, both pathways offer the same two core modules that offer a general introduction to academic study at university level – English, and international studies and communication. There is also a mandatory ‘Mathematics Ordinary' module that all students will complete, to ensure that everyone is on a level playing field for basic academic skills.
Students can choose the Business and Social Sciences Pathway, which requires students to choose two of the following four modules:

By the end of the foundation year, students who successfully complete each module will be well-placed to apply to an undergraduate degree course in Ireland.
There are minimum requirements for eligibility for the Level 5 Certificate that is offered by ONCAMPUS through UniHaven College. Students must meet both the academic and language requirements in order to be able to apply.
Students must hold a certificate of secondary education to be eligible. They must include a minimum pass grade in maths and pass grades in at least four other subjects. Students can get in contact with the college directly if they wish to find out the specific equivalent criteria for their own country.
On the language front, students must hold a minimum IELTS score of 5.0 with no less than 5.0 in the written component and no less than 4.5 in listening, speaking and reading components. Other language test grades are accepted, such as a B1+ Proficiency Level from the Council of Europe or a C at IGCSE level. The qualification must also have been awarded within two years of the start date of the study programme being applied for.
Here's a breakdown of the steps involved with applying for an ONCAMPUS Ireland study programme:
Step 1 – Students should fill in an online application form to agents.oncampus.global
Step 2 – The Admissions team at ONCAMPUS will consider all applications received and then send offer letters to those who are successful. This letter will include details of any additional conditions.
Step 3 – Students are then able to accept a place on their programme, provided they meet the additional conditions (such as paying a deposit and registration fees)
Step 4 – ONCAMPUS Ireland will send a Letter of Acceptance (LoA). Please note, an LoA is needed to apply for a visa and to get through immigration control on arrival in Ireland.
Step 5 – Any students who need a visa can then apply for one. Failure to obtain a visa will prevent students from attending their programme.
Step 6 – Students must then pay their first semester's tuition fees in advance of arrival. Upon payment, students can arrive at the college the weekend before their studies are due to begin.
Students attending UniHaven College through ONCAMPUS are able to find their own accommodation if they wish, but it is highly recommended that students instead use the free service provided by ONCAMPUS to arrange accommodation for them.
Most students will be placed in accommodation in Dublin, only a short distance from the college and with excellent public transport links. This also means that students have access to all the world-class restaurants, cultural attractions, shops and more that the city has to offer.

Students may also opt for hosted accommodation living with a local family that has been vetted, or they may wish to rent their own private accommodation, with several options available close to the college.
