The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) meets the accreditation requirements for CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). In order to enrol in their respective professional programs and ultimately qualify as a professional accountant, graduates must have completed:Core units BSB105, BSB106, BSB108, BSB131, BSB151 & BSB152
All accounting major unitsGraduates are also eligible for exemptions in the qualifying program for membership of the UK-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).Students who complete specified units within the Regulation and Tax Extension will meet the academic entry requirements for registration as a Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.Graduates will also meet the requirements for affiliate membership with the Governance Institute of Australia, which can lead to qualification as a Chartered Governance Professional.
